KNOW WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR
Not all “human hair” is the same, and the terminology can make shopping more confusing than it needs to be.
Human hair that has not been chemically processed. Before straightening or applying product, this type of hair will have a slight coarse texture rather than a bone straight look. A quick straighten and hair oil will give it that beautiful sleek look. We love it because it behaves just like growing human hair, meaning it reacts to humidity by swelling, softening, or reverting slightly to its native wave. Because raw hair does not rely on surface treatments. Its strength is structural, not cosmetic. The hair will absorb moisture, respond to deep conditioning, withstand heat styling when done properly, and improve in manageability over time rather than deteriorate.
While virgin hair is human hair that has never been chemically altered with dyes or bleaches, it may undergo steam processing to create a uniform wave or curl pattern. Virgin hair last a shorter time than raw hair, depending on daily care. It may not bleach or lift as high as raw hair depending on the extent of its steam manipulation.
A mix of different hair types or fibres. Blended hair, often called a human hair blend, is a hybrid product that mixes real human hair with synthetic fibers. This kind of hair looks full, shiny and lengthy when you purchase it however will quickly deteriorate as you wear, style, and expose it to natural elements.
The actual hair matters more.
Look at how the hair has been processed, and how long you want to keep it for and how you want it to look everyday.
